Netherlands boss Danny Blind has revealed that he has apoligised to Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum for playing him out of position.

The former PSV Eindhoven captain has been used mostly as a number ten in his career, but since joining Liverpool has adapted into a more central role.
Quoted by the Mirror, Netherlands coach Danny Blind has praised Wijnaldum for his form this season and admitted that he has been playing him out of position for the national team.
He said, “I have to admit I have abused him in matches for Holland by playing him completely out of position. But you can play Wijnaldum anywhere. I have apologised to him for doing that. He is doing well at Liverpool.”
