According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Bologna are set to sign Excelsior midfielder Jerdy Schouten.

The Italian side have been heavily linked with defender Stefano Denswil, who plays for Club Brugge, in the past few days and they are now reportedly after another Dutchman.
Di Marzio is reporting that Bologna have reached an agreement with Excelsior to sign midfielder Jerdy Schouten, who received plenty of plaudits last season despite his side’s relegation. The fee mentioned is €2 million
The Serie A side have seen off competition from Feyenoord and Ajax to sign the 22-year-old.
