Verdi is set to complete a move to Naples in the coming days and according to Corriere dello Sport, Bologna will look to replace the forward with Matteo Politano from Sassuolo.
However, should that move fail then Bologna will turn their attention to either Feyenoord’s Jean-Paul Boetius or Heracles winger Brandley Kuwas.
Boetius has lost his place on the left wing at Feyenoord to Sam Larsson and may decide to depart De Kuip for another foreign adventure, having previously played for Genk and FC Basel. Feyenoord would reportedly want €10 million for the Dutch international.
Kuwas, who has starred for Heracles this season, would be a cheaper option for the Serie A side, with Corriere dello Sport stating a fee of €5-6 million would be needed to prise the winger from Almelo.
