Go Ahead Eagles coach Foeke Booy has announced his decision to leave the club at the end of the season.

booy aBooy, who previously coached Cerle Brugge, Utrecht, and Sparta Rotterdam, was named as Go Ahead Eagles coach in 2013, and led the club to an impressive 13th place finish in their return to the Eredivisie last season.

However he has been unable to stop the club from struggling in this campaign, and with only two wins in their last thirteen games, Go Ahead Eagles sit just above the bottom three in 15th.

Booy announced his decision to leave the club after this season with a statement on the official website., “I’ve made my choice. I’m ready for a change and that feeling I want to follow.

“The club deserves that I provide clarity.”
