Bazoer is not in the squad for Ajax’s Europa League clash with Standard Liege on Thursday and speaking to De Telegraaf, Peter Bosz confirmed it is because the midfielder’s time with the club is coming to an end.

Bosz said, “After talks with Riechedly I assume there is a big chance that he is not with this team anymore after the winter break.

“Against Standard I want to play young players so they can get used to this international level.”

Bazoer made his debut with the first team in 2013 and has gone on to make more than 60 appearances for Ajax, scoring seven times. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona, AC Milan, Roma, Arsenal and Liverpool in recent months.
