Bosz reiterated the joy of the squad in the changing room after the game and claimed that getting through to the Europa League last four and the result will give the team energy for the league game against PSV Eindhoven on Sunday.

He said, “Of course I still had a belief that we would reach the semi-finals when we were 3-0 down in extra time. We knew it was going to be difficult. If I would not have any belief what would my players do. We did it though.

“We showed character tonight and we have played a very tough game mainly due to the fact that many players have had to fight with 10 men which they did until the end . With us scoring the 2nd goal in extra time it shows that the team are physically in shape. I understand that two days to recover for PSV Eindhoven is not much but a result like tonight can give us energy and we were really happy in the changing room.”
