Peter Bosz has been named the Dutch football coach of the year after a stellar first season with Ajax.

Bosz has seen off Giovanni van Bronckhorst (Feyenoord), Erik ten Hag (FC Utrecht), Henk Fräser (Vitesse) and Mitchell van der Gaag (Excelsior) to win the Rinus Michel’s award. The winner is picked by Bosz’s fellow Eredivisie coaches.
In his first season at Ajax, Bosz led the club to 2nd in the Eredivisie, but also to the final of the Europa League where they will face Manchester United on Wednesday.
VVV Venlo’s Maurice Steijn won the coach of the year award in the Jupiler League, while Co Adriaanse received the oeuvre award.
What a disgrace he’s won nothing..
