The battle for the fourth Bundesliga spot is set to go to the wire with both Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach battling it out for a Champions League spot.
On Saturday, Bayer Leverkusen held fourth but they lost 2-0 at Hertha Berlin thanks to goals from Matheus Cunha and Dodi Lukebakio. Daley Sinkgraven remained on the bench for Bayer Leverkusen.
Peter Bosz’s side now drops down to fifth with Borussia Monchengladbach defeating Paderborn 3-1. Next week, Bayer Leverkusen must beat Mainz and hope that Gladbach lose at home to Hertha Berlin.
