The 31 year old was a free agent after agreeing to terminate his contract with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon last month after a lack of games.
Now Boulahrouz has decided to join Brondby, and cant wait to get started with his new teammates, stating during his presentation:
“I can not wait to be with my teammates on the pitch. I have a very good impression of the club.Everyone has done everything to make feel at home.”
“For a new player at a new club in a new country it is extremely important to start quciky. I feel fit and expect to.”
After starting his career with RKC Waalwijk, Boulahrouz has gone on to star for Hamburg, Chelsea, Sevilla, and Stuttgart before moving to Sporting in the summer of 2012.
The defender has made a number of appearances for the Dutch national team since his debut in 2004, and will be hoping that getting back to form with his new side can help him add to his 35 caps.
