According to Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws, Bournemouth followed Club Brugge winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld closely this summer but decided not to make an offer for the Dutchman.

The Premier League side were interested in the winger and watched him during Club Brugge’s friendlies with Heracles Almelo, AZ and Sporting club de Portugal.

However, Bournemouth have decided not to make an offer for the Dutch international, who has also been linked with AS Roma and AC Milan recently.

Het Laatste Nieuws also criticises Danjuma’s attitude in the article, “Since becoming a hype player a year ago, Danjuma has lost his sense of reality.

“If Danjuma hopes to leave later or does not want to lose his place to Diatta, he will quickly switch off his self-centred tunnel vision.”

Danjuma made the move to Club Brugge from NEC Nijmegen last summer. He started the campaign in great form then suffered a long-term injury.
