Leicester City are set to sell Harry Maguire to Manchester United for a huge £80 million fee.
They had set their sights on Dutch international Nathan Ake as Maguire’s replacement. However, according to Sky Sports, Bournemouth are asking for £75 million to depart with their centre-back.
That fee is too high for Leicester City, who only have until Thursday to sign players before the transfer window in England slams shut.
Ake joined Bournemouth on a permanent deal in 2017 for a £20 million fee from Chelsea.
