At Brescia, Bouy made 17 appearances, scoring once, and assisting five times, before suffering the injury whilst playing in a club friendly.

According to TuttoSport, Bouy is now closing in on a comeback, with the midfielder now in the final period of his rehabilitation.

Once fully recovered, Bouy is set to star for the Juventus reserve side until he gains fitness, but may also be used as a back up option to the first team.

In January the club will explore sending the Dutch U-19 international on loan to gain even more first team action, but Juventus see Bouy as a bright talent for the future, and he will one day battle for the first team.

An Ajax academy graduate, Bouy moved to Italy in 2012 on a free transfer, without making his first team debut for the Amsterdam club.
