Utrecht moved up to fourth after a Ruud Boymans double saw them down Willem II 2-1.

boymans utrwilBoymans spent a successful season on loan for Willem II before joining Utrecht in 2014, and the striker proved a constant thorn to his former side before opening the scoring on 32 minutes. The forward showed great determination to win the ball in the box before firing a low shot into the bottom corner.

The home side maintained control of the game but in the 77th minute Willem II were gifted a penalty when Robbin Ruiter stupidly raced out of his goal to bring down Bartholomew Ogbeche. The striker picked himself up to slot in the spot kick.

Five minutes from time Utrecht sealed the win they deserved as Boymans was allowed space in the box to fire in from close range.

Willem II stay 15th while Utrecht jump from 8th to 4th.
