PSV technical director Marcel Brands has stated that defender Jetro Willems and winger Luciano Narsingh are likely to leave the club after winning back to back Eredivisie Championships.

Brands gave an update on the changes he expects to see within the squad during the upcoming transfer window at PSV’s title celebrations earlier this week. Not surprisingly, both Willems and Narsingh are expected to leave.Similarly to Wijnaldum and Depay leaving last season, this will create quite a void to fill
Similarly to Wijnaldum and Depay leaving last season, this will create quite a void to fill within the side as PSV will again lose two fan favorites before next season. Willems has been connected to a number of top European clubs, none more so than Manchester City; and Narsingh is reportedly being eyed as a target for fellow Dutchmen Ronald Koeman at Southampton.
Also expected to leave is Adam Maher, who has failed to impress the hype he was given when transferring from AZ three seasons ago.
Fans will be delighted to hear that Brands expects captain and top scorer Luuk de Jong to stay next season. De Jong has refound form at PSV after troubling spells in Germany and England, and recently iterated his desire to prove doubters wrong and return to foreign, more prestigious leagues. However, it looks like he will have to wait another season before getting that chance, and if he and PSV perform as admirably in the Champion’s League next season as they did during this one, he should find no shortage of suitors at the end of next season.
