mokotjo twe brenThe English championship side announced the appointment of Excelsior’s Marinus Dijkhuizen as their new boss on Monday, and it seems they aren’t finished doing business in the Netherlands.

VI are reporting that Twente’s South African midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo will become Dijkhuizen’s first signing as Brentford boss with negotiations at an advanced stage. Obtaining a work permit is the only possible hurdle for Mokotjo before the deal is completed.

Mokotjo started his career in Netherlands with Feyenoord, and later had spells with Excelsior and PEC Zwolle before joining FC Twente last summer. The holding midfielder made 33 league appearances this season, but with FC Twente in deep financial trouble they will be forced to sell if they receive the right offer.
