The 26-year-old was a free agent after leaving ADO Den Haag at the end of last season, and today Brighton have confirmed that Holla has signed a three year-deal.
Holla began his career with Groningen, and after appearing in 97 league matches, he signed for ADO Den Haag in 2012. In two seasons in the Hague, Holla scored 14 league goals in 54 matches, and captained the club last season.
Brighton boss Sami Hyypia told the official Brighton website, “Danny is a player who has plenty of top-flight experience in Holland with more than 200 senior appearances, and that experience is something we need.
“He is a deep-lying midfielder and the scouting reports I have seen on him show he likes to get on the ball, pass it and dictate the play – and I hope he can bring that to the team.
