A fee of around €1.5 million was agreed between both clubs for the 22-year-old, who was not part of Feyenoord boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s plans this season.
Brighton boss Chris Hughton told the official club website, “We are really pleased to have brought in another offensive option,”
“Elvis is a different type of striker, and also a player who has also played in wide areas. At 22 years of age, he is of a great age for further development, and he comes to us with a very good pedigree having come through the Feyenoord system,”
Manu broke into the Feyenoord first team last season after impressing in a loan spell with Cambuur the year before. Playing mostly on the left wing, Manu impressed with 12 goals in 32 appearances and kept Jean Paul Boetius out of the line-up.
