According to Voetbal International, Ruud Brood is the new head coach of ADO Den Haag on a two-year deal.

Aleksandar Rankovic was sacked by ADO Den Haag at the weekend after a terrible start to the season.

The club has moved quickly to find his replacement with Brood set to take charge, and sign a two-year deal.

The 58-year-old was sacked by NAC Breda in 2019 and has been out of work since. He previously coached  Heracles Almelo, Roda JC Kerkrade and NEC, among others. He also assisted Phillip Cocu with PSV Eindhoven.
