cam djdCambuur started the game one place above the bottom three, while Roda JC were rock bottom, with both clubs desperate for three points.

It was Roda JC who had the first big chances of the game, but Mitchell Donald somehow fired wide from two yards in front of goal, before goalkeeper Leonard Nienhuis made a good stop to deny Guy Ramos.

Roda JC then had Filip Kurto to thank for going into the break level as the goalkeeper made a number of stops to deny Cambuur from taking the lead. Elvis Manu, Erik Bakker, and Jody Lukoki all saw their efforts denied.

The home side dominated the second half, and were unlucky not to take the lead on 74 minutes as their own player Manu stopped Lukoki’s goal bound shot on the line.

Roda JC were then reduced to nine men in the space of three minutes as Kees Lucijkx, and Guy Ramos were both shown second yellow cards.

It looked like Roda were set to hold on for a point, but in the 92nd minute Paco van Moorsel ghosted through the defence to stab the ball into the net.

Cambuur now rise up to 12th in the league with the win, while Roda JC have now lost five games in a row, and remain four points from safety.
