According to Voetbal International the 24-year-old Belgian has signed a two-year deal in Leeuwarden with the option of another year. Cambuur do not have to pay any fee to Dordrecht, with Peersman’s contract expiring on the 1st of July.
Dordrecht signed Peersman from Belgian side Royal Antwerp in 2012, with the defender making 81 league appearances for the club since then, scoring once. Despite being born in Belgium, Peersman also holds a Ghanaian passport, but is yet to represent either nation at any level.
