After the signing of Bas Dost, Sporting Lisbon have added another Dutch striker to their squad with Luc Castaignos joining from Eintracht Frankfurt.

castaignThe 23-year-old forward signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese side on Sunday night with the option of a further two seasons. The fee for the deal is unknown but the striker now has a release clause of €60 million in his contract.

Castaignos told the official Sporting website, “I chose Sporting because it is a big club. I think I can grow here. Hopefully I can continue to help the team, I’m sure we will compete for the title. ”

Castaignos, who started his career with Feyenoord, has been with Eintracht Frankfurt since the Bundesliga club signed him from Twente last summer. In 22 games for the club, Castaignos netted five times.
