VVV Venlo have confirmed that English midfielder Lee Cattermole will train with the club in the coming days.

The 31-year-old defensive midfielder is currently a free agent after leaving Sunderland at the end of last season.
Cattermole will join up with VVV Venlo’s training session on Thursday and there is a possibility he could join the club permanently.
A statement on the VVV website read, “Cattermole and VVV-Venlo have agreed with each other that there will be a review in the upcoming period to see if club and player match,”
Cattermole previously played with Middlesbrough and Wigan Athletic before joining Sunderland in 2009.
