According to Omroep Gelderland, Anderlecht and Celtic are interested in signing NEC Nijmegen’s impressive young winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh.

The 21-year-old has had an excellent season for Eerste Divisie champions NEC Nijmegen, scoring twelve times and adding 17 assists in 28 games. This form saw Jahanbakhsh named as the league’s player of the year.
NEC Nijmegen are hopeful of keeping the winger as they look forward to life back in the Eredivisie next season, and are looking to extend and bolster his current contract in order to keep the Iranian international happy.
However if Jahanbakhsh decides he wants to leave NEC he will have plenty of options, with not only several Eredivisie side’s chasing his signature, but also Scottish champions Celtic and Belgian giants Anderlecht.
