The 22 year old is a left back, but can also play as a center half and would provide versatility to the Celtic defence.
According to the Sun, Dijks is at the top of manager Rony Delia’s list of targets, with the Celtic boss set to lose two defenders this summer including Dutchman Virgil van Dijk, who has been linked constantly with a move to the Premier League.
Dijks joined Willem II from Ajax last summer, but only has 12 months left on his contract. Celtic would be able to snap up the defender for around £700,000.
The former Netherlands U21 star has previously played against Celtic with Ajax in a 4-0 friendly win back in 2012.
