Chelsea U23 boss Adi Viveash has confirmed that Marco van Ginkel is set to leave the club on loan in January.

Marco-van-Ginkel-ChelseaThe Dutch midfielder has just returned from a knee injury, which scuppered PSV’s chances of signing him on loan in the summer, but the Eindhoven club are set to make another move when the transfer window opens again in January.

Van Ginkel completed 90 minutes for Chelsea’s U23’s on Tuesday and after the game coach Adi Viveash spoke to the Daily Express and confirmed that the 23-year-old will be leaving the club in January.

He said, “Marco has had loans before, he has trained with the first team at certain times before but certainly since he has come back he has been training with us to get the match fitness up before he goes out in January.”
