According to reports in England, Chelsea are lining up a move for Lazio centre-back Stefan de Vrij.

The Premier League giants have been heavily linked with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, but with the asking price rising to €50 million, Chelsea are set to look elsewhere and according to The Mirror they have turned their attention to Dutchman Stefan de Vrij.
The 24-year-old signed for Lazio in 2014 from Feyenoord, and impressed in Serie A until a serious knee injury ruled him out for most of last season. De Vrij returned to Lazio’s first team this summer and has made appearances in friendlies, but it is not yet known whether he is back to his best.
The Dutch international, who was a major part of the Dutch side that reached the World Cup semi’s in 2014, would reportedly cost Chelsea €15 million.
