According to the Mirror, Chelsea are impressed by Borussia Dortmund striker Alexander Isak, who is on loan with Willem II.

The young Swedish forward struggled to break into the Dortmund first-team but he has been excellent since joining Willem II in January.

In eleven Eredivisie games, Isak has scored eleven goals and contributed three assists, which has led to speculation around the 19-year-old’s future.

Ajax have been linked with a summer move and the Mirror is now reporting that Chelsea sent scouts to watch him in action.

Chelsea are currently fighting a transfer ban and hope to be able to sign players in the summer. Isak is one of their targets along with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
