The 18-year-old forward joined Chelsea from West Brom in 2013, and made his Premier League debut in the 3-0 defeat to his former club on the 18th of May. For Chelsea’s reserves last season Brown netted eleven goals and added ten assists, while he scored two goals in two games for England’s U19 side.
Brown is highly regarded by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, but according to ESPN, the club want him to experience first team football and think a season on loan with Vitesse Arnhem would be beneficial.
Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker has already moved to Arnhem this summer, while Brazilian Nathan is also expected to move to the Eredivisie side.
