The young Dutch winger has had limited opportunities to impress for the Manchester United’s first-team and his deal at the club expires this summer.
The club wanted to tie him down to a new deal but it appears that Chong will instead leave Old Trafford for Italy.
According to Calciomercato, Chong will sign a five-year deal with Inter Milan, but will spend his first season at the club out on loan. Verona, Parma and Sassuolo are all interested in loaning the winger.
The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for Manchester United’s first team.
