maher eIn the first round of group matches, PSV disappointingly lost out at home to Bulgarian champions Ludogorets 2-0 and currently sit bottom of group B.

The Eindhoven club also suffered their first league defeat of the season at the weekend, as they were defeated 2-1 by AZ Alkmaar, and will be looking to bounce back in Ukraine.

However Chornomorets will provide a stern test for Phillip Cocu’s side as they currently sit 4th in the Ukrainian league, and have only lost once in their past 14 matches.

This defeat was suffered at the weekend when they went down 2-0 against Dnipro, the side that twice beat PSV in this same competition last season.

PSV are still without defender Karim Rekik, while both Jeroen Zoet, and Park ji Sung will miss out after coming off injured in the defeat to AZ at the weekend.

Likely line-ups:

Chornomorets: Bezotosny, Zubeyko, Anderson, Berger, Fontanello, Bakaij, Kovalchuk, Gai, Dja Djedje, Priyomov, Antonov

PSV: Tyton, Brenet, Willems, Hendrix, Bruma, Schaars, Maher, Toivonen, Depay, Bakkali, Matavz

Conclusion:

Chornomorets will start tomorrow’s match as favourites, and PSV will face an uphill task to get their Europa League campaign back on track after the embarrassing defeat last time out. However the Eindhoven side are full of talented players, and if they can play to top form then a win in Ukraine is definitely possible.
