Club Brugge has confirmed that an agreement in principle has been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Bas Dost.

The Belgian side confirmed on their website that Dost is set to sign for the club, with a statement reading, “With Dost, Club gets a centre forward who guarantees goals.”

Dost has to pass his medical with the club before he can sign a deal until the summer of 2022. Club Brugge has not revealed the fee they will pay Eintracht Frankfurt for the Dutchman.

The 31-year-old, who has played for Emmen, Heerenveen, Wolfsburg, and Sporting Club de Portugal, could make his debut in Belgium on the 17th of January. He becomes a teammate of Noa Lang and Ruud Vormer.
