According to Dutch Newspaper De Telegraaf, Club Brugge have agreed a fee of €1.3 million plus twenty percent of any future transfer fee with Ajax for Richardo van Rhijn. The twenty-five-year-old right back will now discuss personal terms with the Belgium club in order to seal a transfer to the Jupiler Pro League.
Van Rhijn has a contract with Ajax until 2018, but he lost his place in the Ajax side to Kenny Tete under Frank de Boer and it is clear that new coach Peter Bosz feels he does not warrant a place in his plans for the upcoming season.
Richardo van Rhijn debuted for Ajax in 2011 and has played over a hundred games for the club winning three Eredivisie titles and a Johan Cruyff Shield.
