According to Algemeen Dagblad, Club Brugge are interested in signing Heerenveen midfielder Joey Veerman.

The 21-year-old has just had an excellent season with Heerenveen, and has been previously linked with a move to Feyenoord.

However, AD is reporting that Veerman could follow in the footsteps of former Heerenveen midfielder Michel Vlap and choose a future in Belgium.

Club Brugge are reportedly interested in signing Veerman, who signed for Heerenveen last summer from Volendam and has a contract until 2022.

Heerenveen wants Veerman to remain and will not let their young star leave on the cheap.
