Young talents Georginio Wijnaldum, Memphis Depay and Jetro Willems are attracting interest across Europe, but Cocu estimates the likelihood of anybody switching clubs next month as relatively small.
“You can never be 100 per cent sure in football,” said Cocu in the wake of his side’s 5-0 thrashing of Go-Ahead Eagles.
“If both the players’ and PSV’s intentions are the same, then that’ll reduce the likelihood of anything happening in the winter.”
Cocu was told by both Depay and Wijnaldum they decided to remain in Eindhoven during the summer in order to become Dutch champions and he sees no reason for that shared outlook to alter.
“There is faith and belief in the dressing room,” he continued.
“Of course, you can never rule out a departure if an absolute top club cones in.
“That is the dream of every player and when there are certain amounts on the table, you cannot stop anybody.
“But I believe that chance is rather small due to the atmosphere and conviction that exists in the locker room.”
Cocu’s men lead the Eredivisie standings ahead of fierce rivals Ajax heading into Christmas and next face Vitesse away from home when returning to league action after the winter break on January 17.
