Phillip Cocu’s Derby County are in the race for the Championship playoffs after they resumed the season with a 3-2 victory over Millwall.

After a lengthy layoff due to the coronavirus, the Championship season resumed on Saturday with Cocu’s Derby County heading to Millwall.
The hosts took the lead in the 15th minute through Matt Smith, but 18-year-old Louie Sibley equalised ten minutes later.
The youngster then became the match-winner in the second half, netting twice to complete his hat-trick and to put Derby County 3-1 up. Connor Mahoney pulled one back but that proved to be a consolation.
A great return for Cocu who sees his Derby side sit 11th but only two points adrift of a promotion playoff spot.
