UEFA are playing the tournament over 12 different host cities but that had been put into threat due to the corona virus outbreak.
Many of the cities had signed new contracts but not all of them, with UEFA boss Aleksander Ceferin stating last month that they may have to reduce the number of stadiums around Europe.
It has now been confirmed that Amsterdam will remain one of the host cities and three Netherlands group games will be played at the Johan Cruijff ArenA along with one quarter-final.
Tournament director Gijs de Jong said in a statement, “I am happy with the confirmation of the status of playing city for Amsterdam. I never had any doubts about this, but something like that had to be properly arranged with the national government, the municipality of Amsterdam, Schiphol and the Johan Cruijff Arena. That has now happened. “
