The versatile Dutch international’s contract at the Premier League giants ends in the summer and no talks have yet begun on a fresh deal. Instead, Manchester United are set to trigger an automatic one-year extension but only to recoup more money for Blind when he is sold.

According to The Times, Blind is worried about the lack of conversation with the club and is fearing that his time in Manchester is coming to an end.

The 27-year-old has lost his position at left-back to Ashley Young and has struggled recently to get onto the bench, let alone the starting eleven. He hasn’t started a single Premier League game this season.

Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a summer move for Blind, while there is also interest from Fenerbahce.
