It was a night to remember for Adrian Dalmau with the Spaniard netting four goals as Heracles Almelo smashed Fortuna Sittard 6-0.

Heracles went into the game on the back of their 1-0 win over Ajax last weekend and they dominated the game against Fortuna from the start.

After only 52 seconds, Dalmau fired the hosts in front after being set up by Mohammed Osman.

Heracles continued to push forward for the rest of the half but Brandley Kuwas and Osman were denied by goalkeeper Alexei Koselev. At the other end of the pitch, Fortuna barely threatened.

Six minutes into the second half, Dalmau headed a Kuwas cross into the net to make it 2-0 before Jesper Drost made it three shortly afterwards.

The floodgates then opened with Dalmau completing his hattrick on the hour mark with a fine finish. Kristoffer Peterson then got the fifth before Dalmau completed the rout.

The victory lifts Heracles to fifth while Fortuna Sittard remain 10th.
