According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arnaut Danjuma’s move from Villarreal to West Ham United is not close to being completed.

On Wednesday evening, Romano reported that a deal between West Ham United and Villarreal was close over a €40 million fee for the Dutch international.
However, the transfer expert reported a day later that the Premier League side and Danjuma are still far apart in relation to personal terms. Danjuma is sticking to his guns as he is happy in Spain, while West Ham United are not willing to budge on their offer.
A deal is now not certain, which could leave the door open to other clubs, with Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester United all previously linked with a move for the former NEC Nijmegen, Club Brugge and Bournemouth forward.
