Propper has been the standout player for the Arnhem side this season, and with his contract coming into its final year this summer, Vitesse may look to cash in on their prize asset.
Speaking to De Telegraaf, Propper admitted he is looking to make a step up this summer, and according to the newspaper, indicated that either PSV or Ajax could be an option.
Propper said, “I would definitely make the step-up. I think this would also be in the Netherlands.”
Despite his good form, Propper did not receive a call up to the Netherlands squad, but he wasn’t surprised, “I did not expect it, since I was not in the pre-selection. I just have to continue this way. Under Louis van Gaal, I sat once with the group. That was really nice. I’m still young, so I do not hope it stays at the one time.”
Propper has scored five goals in 29 appearances for Vitesse this season, adding three assists.
