Frank de Boer has urged Barcelona to sign former Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.

De Boer coached Eriksen at Ajax before the Danish midfielder decided to join Tottenham in 2013 for £11 million. Spanish media have linked Barcelona with a summer move for the 25-year-old and De Boer thinks Eriksen has everything it takes to succeed at the Catalan giants.
He told Ziggo Sports, “I think he’s has a great career in the making.
“First Ajax, then to Tottenham at the highest level. I think he is ready for a step higher. Tottenham is a great club, but he has everything that a Barcelona player needs. Christian has an overview, work ethic … Left, right, assists, he can score. He is quite complete,”
