Newcastle are searching for a new coach after Alan Pardew left for Crystal Palace, and Frank de Boer has been one of the names heavily linked with the post.
Last week De Boer’s agent stated the 44-year-old would not leave Ajax midway through the season, and the man himself has reiterated that message.
Speaking to AD De Boer said, “I am honoured by the interest from Newcastle United.
“But for the next six months I am only focusing on Ajax.”
Later De Boer was also quoted by Voetbal International saying, “I’ve read the newspapers.
“Newcastle are a sleeping giant, with a great stadium and most loyal fans, but what else can I say?
“I’ll be with Ajax for the remainder of the season anyway.
“I will consider a move, if any, in the summer, but only when a great club shows an interest.”
De Boer has won four straight Eredivisie titles since taking over the Amsterdam club in 2010.
Leave Carver in charge until the end of the 2014 season , BUT,, Tell Frank we want him starting next season ,go and win the title for Ajax
Then come to us in August 2014 as our Manager to be in total control and change everything from Top to Bottom,,Mr Ashley needs to give Frank a contract now with total authority to do what he wants within forecasted guidelines which he can prove he has done at Ajax ,,,If Mr Ashley does this he WILL triple his NUFC investment ,,If Frank can deliver the type of football he is given Ajax ,,that is. ??????????? ” HOWAY WOR FRANK “
