blind daelDe Boer has been linked with a move for his former Ajax captain since he was confirmed as the new Inter Milan boss last week. However, speaking after his side beat Celtic 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday, De Boer stated he doesn’t think Blind wants to leave Manchester United.

He said, “We have many good defenders, but we’ll see. But I like him as a player for sure, he’s fantastic.

“I think he is very happy at Manchester United. He has participated in the Community Shield, but of course I still follow the players who left under me at Ajax. I am doing that with Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Gregory van der Wiel and I do it with Daley Blind.

“I know his situation and think he is very happy. Jose Mourinho has faith in him, but we’ll see what happens in the future.

Daley Blind has been linked with a transfer from Manchester United this summer after Mourinho took charge, but was involved in the Community shield win over Leicester City last weekend.
