de-boer-inter-boInter Milan directors gave their vote of confidence to the Dutchman only last week but it appears the 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria was the final nail in De Boer’s coffin.

On Monday morning after weeks of speculation it was confirmed that De Boer had been sacked by the club after he spoke to the clubs Chinese owners. The former Ajax boss was only in charge of the Serie A giants for 84 days.

The sacking marks the first failure in De Boer’s managerial career, with the former defender leaving with Inter Milan sitting 12th in Serie A after only four wins in the opening eleven league games.
