Frank de Boer believes AZ Alkmaar boss John van den Brom could replace him when he decides to leave Ajax.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of Ajax v AZ this weekend, De Boer opened up about his future at the Amsterdam Arena.
He said, “I have a contract until 2017. I still see no signal to leave now. We just wait. If I really have the feeling that I have a clear answer, I will give it. ”
On his possible successor, De Boer thinks John van den Brom could be perfect, “John is a good friend of mine, a good fellow.
“He has played at Ajax and the club’s where he has worked as a trainer, were teams that were trying to play with a certain thought. Whether that is Vitesse, Anderlecht or AZ.
“I think he can be a candidate.”
