Heracles Almelo made it seven wins in ten after a late Illias Bel Hassani strike was enough to see off bottom side De Graafschap.

de gra herDe Graafschap went into the game with rare optimism after they secured their first away point of the season last week in the Hague, and they created chances against Heracles. Alexander Bannink forced Bram Castro into a fine save in the first half, while Erik Quekel, Nathanial Will, and Bryan Smeets all came close in the second period.

Heracles created little throughout the game, but seven minutes from time Illias Bel Hassani turned in Navratil’s cross to give the visitors the lead. Bel Hassani then struck the post minutes later as Heracles comfortably held on for the win.

De Graafschap remain three points adrift at the bottom, while Heracles move to within a point of the leaders but stay fourth after PSV’s win.
