The match-up between the bottom two in the Eredivisie ended all square as De Graafschap drew 2-2 with Cambuur.

De Graafschap’s improved form since the winter break made them favourites going into the game, and after 23 minutes they led with Vincent Vermeij stooping to head a cross into the net.
However the lead was short lived with Cambuur midfielder Calvin Mac-Intosch getting the better of his marker to nod in the equaliser on 29 minutes. The goal gave Cambuur confidence and they began to take control going into the second half. On 61 minutes Kevin van Veen gave Cambuur a deservedĀ lead with a free kick from the edge of the box.
De Graafschap pushed for an equaliser and they were gifted one fifteen minutes from time as Cambuur goalkeeperĀ Harm Zeinstra dropped the ball to the feet of Ted van de Pavert, who couldn’t miss from yards out. Despite pressure from the home side late on Cambuur held on for a point.
The draw means De Graafschap stay one point ahead of Cambuur at the bottom with only five games to go.
