parzysekThe 20-year-old nearly joined Benfica earlier in January, but the move fell through at a late stage after the Portuguese side took too long to complete the deal.

After being linked with West Ham last week, De Graafschap have now announced that the striker will move to London, but with Charlton Athletic.

De Graafschap technical manager Roland Vroomans told the official site, “We would have loved to have Piotr love until the end of this season at De Graafschap but we are a proud club and will not stand in his way to make such a step.”

Pazryszek added, “As a player, I can improve and now I am ready for my next sporting stage. I want to thank all the fans for the support, but also the club for the confidence and opportunities.”

The striker has been in great form this season, and leaves De Graafschap having scored 16 goals in 20 Jupiler League games.
