Napoli have sent midfielder Jonathan De Guzman on loan to fellow Serie A side Carpi until the end of the season.

De Guzman has been on his way out of Napoli since the summer, when he refused to join Bournemouth, with the midfielder not making a single appearance this season. A feud with Napoli technical director Christian Giuntoli has also been widely reported.
A return to the Premier League with Swansea City has been rumoured, but the Dutch international has decided to join Carpi on loan until the end of the season.
Carpi currently sit 18th in the Serie A table.
