According to Mundo Deportivo, Frenkie de Jong couldn’t wait to get started at Barcelona and turned up at training earlier than expected.

De Jong was presented as a Barcelona player last week and was due to start pre-season training on Monday.
However, the Dutch international showed up at the training ground on Sunday to get started. This has impressed the Spanish press with Mundo Deportivo using the headline, “De Jong, dedicated from day one,”
De Jong only met 13 of his new teammates with many still off on holiday or due back on Monday.
